Village of Kirtland Hills Centennial Photo Contest
Join us in celebrating 100 years of Kirtland Hills—through your lens.
Must be a resident of the Village of Kirtland Hills.
Theme: “Capturing the Village of Kirtland Hills”
Capture the beauty, character, and everyday moments that define the Village of Kirtland Hills. All interpretations are welcome.
Submission Categories
- Middle School/Junior High (Grades 5–8)
- High School (Grades 9–12)
- Adults (Non-Professional)
- Adults (Professional Photographer)Up to 3 entries per participant
Submission Guidelines
Photos must be taken within the Village of Kirtland Hills.
- GPS location is preferred but not required
- Digital format (JPEG or TIFF)
- High resolution (at least 2 MB per photo)
- Light editing only (no heavy manipulation or AI-generated images)
- Include name, category, and optional title/description
Photo Use
By entering, participants grant permission for the Village to use submitted images for website, social media (including Facebook), and centennial materials. Photographers retain ownership.
Deadline
Submit by August 8, 2026.
Judging
Photos will be presented anonymously to the judges. The top three photos in each category will be displayed at the Village’s Centennial Celebration picnic on August 30, 2026. The four first place photographs will be announced during the picnic.
Recognition
Winning photos will be displayed at Village Hall and featured on the Village website and social media.
